Dear Brethren and Families

Firstly I hope this email finds you all well in what is undoubtedly going to be tough times and set to test the resolve of the nation. In what is my first week as your new Worshipful Master instead of planning my year ahead l am instead writing to you in the hope that as a lodge, with a fantastic past, we can bring together some of the principles in Freemasonry during the next few months or so to protect our future. Especially Brotherly love and Relief for those that need it more than others.

We must heed the government advise and that means if you are in a high risk category you should not even be stepping foot outside your house or even have people visit you apart from maybe going for an isolated walk. Things are definitely going to ramp up and soon don't be surprised if the Armed Forces will not be patrolling our streets.

With this in mind l have decided to set up Benevolent 303 Cobra Club

If you or anyone you know need some help no matter how small please call the numbers provided and we will arrange for it to be done. It’s not an exhaustive list but things like shopping, Dog walking, and picking up prescriptions etc. Please do not think you are being a martyr by doing it yourself. The motto from the NHS is they are putting their lives at risk the least we can do is support them and stay home. So to clarify if you are in an at risk group you MUST do as the government are saying and let others look after you. You have done your bit for the community now sit back and let the younger Brethren take the strain.
